My illustrations

These are some of the works i did in the past few years. I like to experiment with styles and having to illustrate every month an article for the same magazine(Playboy Romania) but for fragments of books from diferent authors and subjects gives me that freedom. I usually mix traditional techniques with digital art and I usually have a one week deadline per article. Sometimes when I have to do storyboards I work faster.

Graphic Design

Studying graphic desigh I can enlarge my horisons and find new things to incorporate into my illustrations. I think not following an illustration school is a good thing because like that you risk to get influenced too much by a teacher`s style. In my free time I do a lot of research and I do it for myself, not for a school

Photography

Photography is my other passion. I even was a trainer for artistic-foto-editing in some international media camps. In my free time I like going around and taking pictures. Many times I photograph textures or objects which I later incorporate in my compositions. It is a good creative exercise.
